Things to Do — White River Rafting & Kayaking

This area offers several incredible places to raft, kayak, and tube including the Piedra River (Upper Box Canyon: class III, Lower Box Canyon: class IV), the fun San Juan River (class II-III), and the Animas River in Durango. The rafting season is best between May 1st and July 1st, but can be extended by a heavier-than-normal snowpack.
