Bring your own horses! There are two trails that are rideable from the campground including Ice Cave Ridge. Within about 8 miles there are 3 major trailheads including the Poison Park trailhead that accesses the Weminuche Trail, Williams Creek Trailhead and the Middle Fork Trailhead. All of which offer riding access into the spectacular Weminuche Wilderness. The Piedra River Trail is just 1.5 miles south of us and is mentioned as one of the very best horseback riding trails in the Pagosa Springs area by All Trails.

We are surrounded by thousands of acres of the San Juan National Forest and the Weminuche Wilderness Area, providing horse-lovers with countless places to ride and explore!
